We are pleased to be able to tell you that we are making good progress with the project. Just an update on our Next Generation project for Newton and Stape. There are a lot of negotiations taking place behind the scenes. Unfortunately most of it is confidential at the moment. We can say that it is looking very promising that a high speed connection will be available before the end of the year. BUT NO PROMISES YET!!!! One factor that may cause it to fail is lack of interest!!! A special event will be held on 3rd September 2009 at the Guildhall, Alfred Gelder Street, Hull. HU1 2AA It will be a combination of a FttH Colloquium and BSG COTS meeting - the event brings together community, consumer, supplier, public sector, industry and investors with a common stake in the future of Next Gen Access and Digital Britain. The focus is on practical, useful and progressive discussion and debate, something for everyone concerned. It will be telecast on the WEB for anyone who wishes to follow the day's activities.
